The Wilson County Library System will roast Custom Packaging CEO Jackie Cowden at its annual fundraiser March 29.
The roast will be at 7 p.m. at Castle Heights Elementary School. Tickets are $35 each or $250 for a table sponsorship and may be purchased from a board member or at any Wilson County public library. Jordan’s will cater the event.
Funds raised from the roast are used to support public libraries in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown.
Last year, 291,077 people visited Wilson County libraries and checked out 678,614 items. There are 180,485 books, audio books, movies, magazines and newspapers available at the libraries. The libraries provide free Internet access, computer classes and numerous programs for children and adults.
