Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church

A Halloween cookout will be Friday at 6 p.m. at Leeville United Methodist Church at 7019 Hickory Ridge Road. 

Faith Lutheran Church

“Songwriters in the Round” will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Songwriters, singers, musicians and audience members are welcome at no admission charge. Free refreshments will be served. Faith Lutheran is at 1655 W. Main St. between Dunkin’ Donuts and Bates Ford. Oct. 31

Pickett-Rucker United Methodist Church

Light the Night for Christ will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Pickett-Rucker United Methodist Church at 633 Glover St. in Lebanon. There will be free food, fun, fellowship and a movie. 

Joseph’s Storehouse Food Ministry 

The monthly food distribution at Joseph’s Storehouse will take place Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. Those coming for the first time are requested to bring proof of government assistance or total household income, a picture ID and proof of address. USDA guidelines are followed to qualify applicants. Calvary Baptist Church 

Trunk or treat will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church at 1702 Sparta Pike in Lebanon. 

Dowell Chapel United Methodist Church

October Fest will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Dowell Chapel United Methodist Church, featuring games, a cake walk, bingo, bounce house, chili and s’mores. 

Nov. 1

Bairds Grove Missionary Baptist Church

The Fall Music Program will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at Bairds Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Proceeds will benefit Lucas Blair who needs help getting to California to participate in an IPOP event. He has the chance to be an actor and singer and participate in a professional competition in January in Hollywood, Calif. For more information, call Tina Blair at 615-351-2874. 

Peyton Road Church of Christ

A hallelujah festival will be Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at Peyton Road Church of Christ at 500 Peyton Road in Lebanon. The event will feature games, food, a bon fire, costume contest, trunk or treat and a hayride. For a free ride, call 615-443-0720. 

Westland United Methodist Church

The Westland youth will have a fried turkey fundraiser. The 12-15-pound turkeys are $45 each and are allergy friendly with no peanut oil, seasoning, breading, etc. The deadline to order is Sunday with pickup set for Nov. 25 at Westland United Methodist Church at 110 Dawson Lane in Lebanon. Leeville United Methodist Church

Bill Owens will deliver sermons each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. on the Ten Commandments through mid-November at Leeville United Methodist Church at 7019 Hickory Ridge Road off Highway 109. 

Cornerstone Baptist Church

West Hills Baptist Church

Sunday school begins each week at 9:15 a.m. for all ages at West Hills Baptist Church. The morning worship service follows at 10:30 a.m. in the worship center at 10:30 a.m. During the Sunday morning worship time, West Hills also provides an opportunity for preschool-age children to experience a time of activity and Bible story each week, as well as KidsWorship for school-age children. On Sunday evenings at 5 p.m., West Hills has Bible drill for children, as well as adult discipleship classes, which vary according to topic. The evening service begins at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Laguardo Missionary Baptist Church

Sunday school starts at 10 a.m. with worship at 11 a.m. each Sunday at Laguardo Missionary Baptist Church. Wednesday Bible study starts at 6:30 p.m. 

Hobson Pike Baptist Church

Worship services begin Sunday with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Hobson Pike Baptist Church at 3525 Hobson Pike just off S. Mt. Juliet Road. Seth Rone serves as pastor. 

Love’s Way Community Church

Pastor Johan McGregor will bring a message Sunday at 10 a.m. at Love’s Way Community Church. Praise and worship will be led by musician Rick Brown and the Love’s Way Band. College Hills Church of Christ

College Hills Church of Christ will have “Overflow: A Celebration of Homecoming” on Sunday. Overflow is a day of celebration and reunion. Jeff Walling, director of the Youth Leadership Initiative at Pepperdine University, will be the guest preacher.  The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts. One worship service will be featured at 10 a.m., and a catered lunch will follow at 11:30 a.m. Nursery and children’s church will be available through age 4.

Westland United Methodist Church

On Sunday, Pastor Tim Palmer will bring the message. Praise service begins Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at Westland United Methodist Church at 110 Dawson Lane in Lebanon, followed by Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and a traditional service at 10:30 a.m. 

First Baptist Church in Lebanon

First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church, a Christian center of worship in Lebanon since 1910, will meet Sunday for a contemporary service in the chapel at 8:45 a.m. and a traditional service in the sanctuary at 11 a.m.  Sunday school classes meet at 9:45 a.m. for all ages. Members are reminded to bring items for the Timberline ministry. Tuckers Crossroads United Methodist Church

West Haven Baptist Church

Services will be Sunday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon. Celebration Worship will be at 8:30 a.m. in the sanctuary with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. At 11 a.m., the Gathering Worship will be in the Life Center with Homecoming Worship in the sanctuary. 

Lost and Found Church

The Sunday morning service times at Lost and Found Church at 215 McGregor St. in Lebanon have changed. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. and worship service begins at 11 a.m.

Episcopal Church of the Epiphany

The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany will celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday. Christian education begins at 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Kira Schlesinger will lead worship. The church is at 1500 Hickory Ridge Road, at the corner of Hartmann Drive and Hickory Ridge Road, in Lebanon.

Maple Hill Church of Christ

On Sunday, Tim Parish, preaching minister at Maple Hill Church of Christ, will speak on the subject, “Unfinished: Shepherds and Sheep, Part 1,” from Acts 20:28-32. Worship service begins at 9 a.m., followed by Bible school at 10:15 a.m. for all ages. Maple Hill Church of Christ is at 102 Maple Hill Road next to Publix. 

First United Methodist Church

Worship services will be Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary at First United Methodist Church in Lebanon. First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet

Compassionate Hands Homeless Ministry

The Compassionate Hands Homeless Ministry will hold a meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at the Cross Style Nazarene Church on Trinity Lane. The public is invited and the ministry is trying to get one more host church for Tuesday night for women and two more overflow churches. First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church of Lebanon disciples’ class meets Mondays at 6 p.m. in the chapel for a time of intense Bible study.

First United Methodist Church

Grief support meets Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. for children at First United Methodist Church in Lebanon.

Responding 12-Step Recovery

Responding 12-Step Recovery meetings will be each Monday at 7 p.m. The 12-step recovery program is Bible based and takes the traditional 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and looks at a biblical view of true recovery through the word of God.
