Nine Jackets recognized as all-region
Nine Trousdale County High School football players were awarded recently at the Region 4-2A football banquet. Three Jackets received superlative awards as senior Eric Gunther was selected as co-lineman of the year. Junior Cole Gregory was the co-defensive player of the year, and classmate Kobyn Calhoun was the co-special teams player of the year. Also among the all-region honorees were teammates Brian Banks, Zach Petty, Jake Fergusson and Ethan West. Josh Martinez and Noah Cook were honorable-mention selections.
