Single moms, active-duty military wives, widows oil change

Round Lick Baptist Church’s bi-monthly free oil change program for single moms and widows runs from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 210 Public Square in Watertown. Oil changes and safety checks will be performed on an appointment basis. Visit to sign up.

Veterans’ breakfast

The Tennessee Army National Guard Armory, located at 1010 Leeville Pike in Lebanon, will be the site of a free veteran’s breakfast from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m., sponsored by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1004. All veterans of any branch and era are invited to attend and bring along a guest.


Winter revival

Temple Baptist Church, located at 211 Coles Ferry Pike in Lebanon, is hosting a four-day, winter revival from Sunday until Wednesday, with evangelist Bobby McGilliard of Shelbyville. The Wilson County chapter of the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee will hold a meeting at the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce, located at 2055 North Mt. Juliet Road in suite 200 in Mt. Juliet. Coffee and donuts will be served at 8:30. Panel discussion begins at 9 a.m.

Chamber luncheon

The Government Relations Division of the Lebanon Wilson Chamber of Commerce is holding a luncheon to honor those who have served the country. It begins at 11:30 a.m. at Baird Chapel, located at 1 Cumberland Square in Lebanon.

James Olson, a man with 30 years of service at the CIA, will deliver remarks. Olson served overseas in clandestine operations and later became the counterintelligence chief at the agency’s Langley headquarters.

Tickets to the luncheon are $35. Veterans, plus one guest, receive a discounted ticket price of $25 per person. Tickets are available through the chamber office by calling 615-444-5503.

Middle Tennessee RV Show

The fourth annual Middle Tennessee RV show takes place at the Farm Bureau Expo Center, located at 945 East Baddour Pkwy. in Lebanon. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity March, Parade and Motorcade

The Wilson County Black History Committee plans to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., during the annual march. Participants are to gather at First United Methodist Church, located at 415 W. Main St. in Lebanon, at 9:30 a.m. The march starts at 10 a.m. and will conclude at Pickett Chapel, located at 209 East Market St. in Lebanon, where a short program will follow.

Goldwing Road Riders Association
