City of Lebanon museum opens

The city of Lebanon and Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to showcase the city’s new Museum & History Center. Mayor Rick Bell was joined by museum director Kathleen Vail, city staff, friends, elected officials, chamber ambassadors, directors, and president and CEO Melanie Minter. The museum offers exhibits that cover a wide variety of real-life experiences from the people, the places, and the things that makes Lebanon what it is today. The museum is located in Lebanon’s City Hall at 200 N. Castle Heights Ave. Once visitors sign into the guest book located next to the security guard station, they will be directed to the museum entrance for a leisurely self-tour. For more information, call Vail at 615-444-3647 Ext. 2320.
