Rotary taps Watertown sophomore for exchange

Watertown High School sophomore Iris Williams is congratulated by Lebanon Noon Rotary Club President Linda Hackett, left, and her parents, Amy and Tim Williams, for being named a Rotary Youth Exchange student during Tuesday’s club meeting. Iris’ mother was a Rotary Youth Exchange student in South Africa during the 1985-86 school year, and she said the experience had a profound effect on her. Iris, having grown up hearing her mom talk about it, decided to apply. Her goal is to spend next academic year in Spain.
