Services for Mr. Odom, 69, will be noon Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 in the Joyce Neuble Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Emery Cemetery in Murfreesboro. Social distancing, temperature checks, and mask requirement strictly enforced.

He was preceded in death by parents Carmack Odom Sr. and Lizzie Odom; two sisters, Katherine and Renea Odom; two sons, John Robert Odom Jr. and Timothy Odom; and a special devoted friend, Patricia Seay, aka “Boo Boo”.

Survivors include wife, Mary Odom; daughters, Brittany Sanfor, Lasanaza White and Tina Simmons; son, Charles Ray Odom; brother, Carmack Odom, Jr.; three sisters, Martha Seay, Jackie Odom and Teresa Turner; grandchildren, Destinee Odom, Myeesha Odom, Tony White, Kierra White, Dee White, Tracy Cope, Myleka Simmons, A’Ja Simmons, Amiyah Odom, Timothy McAdoo and Christopher Watkins; nine great-grandchildren; four bonus children, Darren and Jordan Seay, and Carletha and Jason Waters; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends; four devoted nephews, Labyron Seay, Lazontez Gardner, Tommy Neal and Jay Wofford; devoted niece, Christina Seay; and devoted friends, Mike and Stacey Brown, Larry Moore, Eddie Maynard, Nick Miller and Big Jackie Reynolds.
