Graveside Service for Mrs. Thompson, 57, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rutland Cemetery. There will be a walk-through visitation from 11 a.m. to noon. In observance of the CDC guidelines, the visitation will be a moving visitation (walk through). We are still practicing 6-foot social distancing. Masks requirement strictly enforced.

She was preceded in death by mother Lois A. Ewin, father John C. Thompson, brothers Nathan and John Corder, and daughter Jereisha Lynn Thompson.

Survivors include stepfather Harold Ewin; brothers Stevie (Quenetta) Brooks, Maurice and Terry Ewin; sisters Michelle Thomas, Debra Coffey, Patrice Luckey, and Teira Ewin; sister-in-law Mae Corder; aunt Kathleen Majors; great-niece Gabriella Brooks; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family of Mrs. Thompson understands that due to the current concerns regarding large gatherings, many who wish to show their love and support in person will be unable to do so. Therefore, they would like to express their gratitude for all the thoughts and prayers extended to them at this time. We encourage you to leave condolences to the family via our website at www.neublemonument
