Lebanon's Mason signs with MTSU basketball

Lebanon center Meioshe Mason signs to play basketball for Middle Tennessee State as the NCAA’s early signing period began Wednesday morning. Seated with her are (from left) sister Rush Dowell being held by grandmother Meioshe Weir, father Rolando Dowell, mother LaToya Weir and grandfather James Weir. Standing are Devilette coaches Icelyn McCarver, Taylor Angel and head coach Cory Barrett. “We are very excited about (Mason) and what her future looks like,” MTSU coach Rick Insell said in an MTSU release. “Getting a local player from a solid high school program was very important to us. She plays with a lot of aggression and has an ability to be a dominant post player long term. She provides a physical low block presence.”
