MCJHS basketball players recognized
The Macon County Junior High School basketball teams recently held their postseason awards banquet. Tigerettes who were recognized are, seated, from left, Tori McClanahan, most improved; Sarah Price, academic award; Sheridan Ellis, most assists, best field-goal percentage, best 3-point field-goal percentage, most 3-pointers made, leading scorer, most outstanding player; Keelyn Gregory, academic award; Kayli Aulick, academic award; (standing) Allie Kate Austin, most steals, most defensive rebounds; Arianna Jones, academic award; Vanessa Kirby, best field-goal percentage, most offensive rebounds, most total rebounds; Paige Shrum, academic award; Olivia Harris, academic award; and Bella Harper.
