A wayward bull, left, spent Saturday night roaming the streets of Mt. Juliet, but by Sunday morning had found comfort with some cows on a local farm. According to tweets from the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the bull escaped from a farm on NW Rutland Road around mid-afternoon Saturday. The bull had been spotted in the area of Old Lebanon Dirt Road and East Division Street. “Do not approach. Call if spotted,” the MJPD warned. At update at 8 p.m. from the police said the bull “continues to enjoy his freedom” and has been seen near Mt. Juliet Road running down the railroad tracks. A 9:44 a.m. Sunday tweet said the bull had been found on a cattle farm on Tillman Drive, where he broke through a fence to join the cows. The bull, described by police has a “hazardous rodeo steer,” traveled about 12 miles before being found at the Tillman Family farm.
