The family of Mr. Beasley will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the service and interment to follow and Pastor Greg Long officiating.
Mr. Beasley, 86, of Owensboro, Kentucky, a veteran of the Korean War and retired from American Airlines, passed away Nov. 6, 2018 after a battle with cancer.
He was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky. He served 50 years as a deacon in churches in St. Louis and Mt. Juliet. He was a faithful, caring and loving servant of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Beatrice S. Beasley; and siblings, Norton Beasley and Cecile White.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Caldwell Beasley; daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Max Hatley; grandchildren, Max Hatley II, Courtney Hatley; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Joyce Beasley; and sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Bob Sizemore.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Pleasant Grove Cemetery or Gideons International.
